| Our message to the non-Muslim public: The world is in difficult circumstances. Poverty and corruption are widespread. Hatred between men is increasing. Sanctity for life and honour is disappearing. What does the future hold in store for humanity? Really and truly we are need need of firm guidance and advice on how to proceed with our lives. Can we trust the media and the politics to navigate us through the quagmire of life? These days Islaam is on all the news channels and in all the papers. What is this all about? How come suddenly over the past decade that Islaam has become the main discussion point for most conversations of substance? Project Noah aims to answer all of these questions, but first we need to consult with the people. And now we need to ask what you feel and think. We need the help and support of humanity as we seek to tackle these big subjects and shed light on the state of our current situation and shine forth a beam that we can step safely forward in. Our team has been training for four months and they will be coming to your doors soon to ask your opinions. We ask that you are helpful and courteous as they work hard to take down your answers to the 7 questions that you will be asked. Please view this page to see the results of our efforts. We appreciate your time and co-operation. |
| Our message to the Muslim public: This deen of Allāh is the greatest treasure of life. We Muslims are rich and those who have not entered into Islām are poor. Allāh is Al-Rahmān (The Beneficient) we must follow His sunnah (example) and we must become beneficient also. We must be generous and we must share our wealth with our fellow human beings with whom we all share a connection with our great great grand-parents; Adam and Eve (May Allāh bestow peace and blessings upon them). It is a disgrace to the world that the Muslims have become enraptured with this temporary life and that they spend their time and effort seeking out the material treasures and pleasures of this finite world when they are fully aware that the provision for the entire life-span of each and every creation of Allāh has been written in the book of decree before this world came into existence. Why then are we selling our religion for a portion of this transient world? Lack of understanding and the influence of Satan are the main reasons. Allāh said that He created us for his worship only and look how far we have gone astray... It is upon us to convey this message of Islām to the entire world. It is not for us to convert people or compel them to belief. Our job is to convey the message clearly and plainly. For this reason we have established our organised dawah and we enter into the non-Muslim communities and engage directly with our brothers and sisters who have their homes there and thus we obey our duty to our Lord. For those who are skeptical and who support a different view i.e. the one that suggests that in today's times it is the Muslims' who are in need of the dawah therefore we should focus on "our own people" first. We have these questions to ask: (a) Who were the people who Muhammad (praise and peace be upon him) called to Islām in Ta'if? (b) How come Muhammad (praise and peace be upon him) went to Ta'if when his uncle's had not accepted Islām? (c) Why, in the first part of Surah Yā Sin and Alif Lām Meem sadjda does Allāh mention that the message is to be delivered to those whose fathers were not warned i.e. the non-Muslims. (note that both these surāt are mustahāb to read daily) (d) Where does it say in the Qu'rān that when a person accepts Islām that we must provide for them Islamic education, employment and accomodation? (Obviously these things, if done out of need, are virtuous and meritorious). (f) If we do not go out and call to Allāh who will? Our organisation engages with the Muslim and non-Muslim public alike and we and encourage all towards learning, understanding and practicing upon the teachings of the Holy Qu'rān and towards following the way of the last messenger Muhammad (praise and peace be upon him). For those who are waiting for something to happen i.e. the advent of Imām Mahdi we have this to say: Imagine that the world is a sinking ship (which figuritively speaking it is as one day Allāh will obliterate it). On the ship are all the living from amongst humankind. The life-boat has been called, but it is far away and the captain of the life-boat is Imām Mahdi. When the life-boat arrives those who are alive and have not drowned will have hope of being saved, but until the life-boat arrives it is the duty of the Muslims who are aboard the sinking ship to search high and low for people to save i.e. propagate the message of Islām. Do you get it? We have been given the ability to make a difference. Allāh honoured us with guidance and so we must guide others. Obviously if someone does not want guidance then we cannot compel, but we shall bear witness to Allāh that we did indeed deliver the message and that we offered guidance. "He who does not show mercy on others; Allāh will not show mercy on him" Whatever we have we must share it for it can be taken away. Whatever we need we must give it for by giving Allāh will give more to us. Never under-estimate the power of Allāh and never under-estimate the status of a true Muslim. Allāh's help is always there when we need it. Are we always there to answer the call of Allāh? Should you wish to join this effort please contact us and we will insha'Allāh come to your locality, or you can visit ours, and we can teach you our system that you can then introduce into your own area. |
